TWBJ treatments are enamel-safe and suitable for first-time clients. To achieve the best possible outcome, we recommend having a professional dental clean prior to your appointment, particularly if you haven’t had one within the last 3–6 months. Removing plaque and tartar allows the whitening gel to work more effectively and helps ensure a brighter, more even result.

For new clients, we typically recommend a Treatment and Top-Up for optimal results. The initial session works to lift the surface staining, while the follow-up treatment enhances and refines your final shade, delivering a brighter, more polished and longer-lasting finish.

With the right aftercare and ongoing maintenance, your results can be maintained for months. Scheduling Top-Up Treatments every 6 months and maintaining a good at-home routine will help preserve a bright, fresh smile.

Treatments take between 60–90 minutes.

This allows time for your assessment, preparation, whitening treatment and finishing with our spot treatment aftercare.

At TWBJ we use professional-grade, low-sensitivity technology designed to be both comfortable and enamel-safe. Most clients experience little to no discomfort during treatment. If any sensitivity does occur, it is usually very mild and temporary, resolving in 12-24 hours.

As a precaution, we do not perform teeth whitening during pregnancy. While professional whitening is considered low risk, we take a conservative approach and recommend waiting until after pregnancy before undergoing treatment.

Cosmetic teeth whitening is generally considered safe while breastfeeding, as the whitening gel works locally on the teeth and is not absorbed into the bloodstream. However, every individual situation is different, and we recommend discussing any concerns with your healthcare provider for added peace of mind.

For the first 24–48 hours after your treatment, your teeth are more porous and can easily absorb colour. To protect your results, it’s important to follow a “white diet” and avoid anything that could stain.
